INCLUSIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS
The Flex series is designed to create learning environments where all students can participate on equal terms. The series support the school's focus on inclusion by offering flexible, user-friendly furniture solutions that make it easy to adapt the classroom to both individual and shared needs. This enables teachers and students to create zones for different activities – both for the individual workplace with space for immersion and screening and for less screened group areas for fellowship or retreat – all with the aim of promoting participation and well-being for different needs.
With a focus on aesthetics and functionality, the Flex series ensures that the classrooms are accessible and welcoming to all, regardless of the students' individual needs for screening or community. The Flex series makes it easy to reorganize the space and thus adapt teaching practices to a wide range of learning styles and needs.

THE HISTORY BEHIND THE FLEX SERIES
The idea for the FLEX series arose from a specific need in a special school, where existing solutions could not offer the necessary flexibility and aesthetics to create screened, individual workplaces. The lack of bespoke furniture often led to improvised partitions with shelving, cardboard and fabric pieces, resulting in poor use of space, clutter and visual noise.
Through thorough mapping of over 20 similar schools, it became clear that the need for a flexible and aesthetic solution was big. This led to the development of the FLEX series, which with its elaborate design meets the school's needs for dynamic learning environments that support learning and well-being regardless of the individual student's special needs.
Together with the school's staff, the furniture was developed and tested in practice to meet as many needs as possible. Through collaboration, we got confirmation that the design could make a difference not just for the individual student, but also for the community and the school.

“We had a student who sat in a separate room because he could not be part of the community. With the FLEX furniture, he has now been given the opportunity to move back into the classroom and participate in the community to the extent that is possible for him." MATERIALS - sustainability
Materials with consideration for the environment.
Sustainability is thought into the production of the entire FLEX series. The acoustic screens are made from recycled plastic bottles and all wood is FSC certified. In this way, we ensure a smaller climate footprint for the benefit of people and the planet.
The furniture series is made of robust materials. Surfaces are washable for school use and all fittings are field tested to withstand rough use.
